Gregg Popovich once again had high praise for the superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James.
Popovich, the legendary head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, said James will be an ‘iconic figure’.
“I think he’s going to be an iconic figure … I’m so proud of this guy and so pleased for him … to see his development as a human being, as a citizen, as someone who looks at the social issues of our time and is willing to speak out,” Popovich said about James, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
Popovich and James have a lot of respect for each other and are considered two of the most respected figures in the NBA.
