FC Barcelona put an end to a three-game losing streak in the EuroLeague, thanks to its 87-72 victory over Valencia at home.

The hosts played without Nikola Mirotic for a third straight game, but made a decent performance on both ends and sealed the deal. FC Barcelona improved to 12-6, whereas Valencia dropped to 10-8.

In the other matches, Fenerbahce (8-10) survived a late thriller against Crvena Zvezda on the road (6-12) and extended its winning streak to three games (71-73).

For its part, Maccabi Tel-Aviv maintained a playoff push, after its 73-85 win over ALBA Berlin. The Israelis have now won five of their last seven games and are at 8-10.

On the other hand, ALBA lost for the fourth time in the last five games and dropped to 7-11.

In Athens, Zenit Saint Petersburg rallied past Panathinaikos (77-89) and continued its impressive road record. The Russians (11-5) have won eight of their nine road games in the EuroLeague (8-1).

On the other hand, the “Greens” have lost three in a row and have a 5-12 record. The multiple time EuroLeague champions are also in search for a new head coach.

At Fernando Buesa Arena, Baskonia (9-9) edged CSKA Moscow (14-4) and ended the 12-game winning streak of the Russians.

Mike James had a chance to win or tie the game, but missed the game-winning shot, as CSKA lost for the first time since October 22.
