Kyle Lowry opened up about being a mentor for the younger players of the Miami Heat in the 2022 NBA playoffs. The All-Star guard explained that he is doing his best to help his teammates stay on the same page no matter if they win or lose.

“Just talk to them. Just keep their energy and their spirit positive. We understand that coming in to Philadelphia, it was going to be hostile. And with them getting Joel [Embiid] back, the MVP, the possible MVP of this league. It’s gonna give them an extra boost.

James [Harden] played a great game tonight. Hit some threes. Got to the free-throw line and did his thing. The young guys on our team, they’re very well composed overall.

For us, we’ve just got to make sure that we stay on the same page all the time. Offensively, defensively, [after timeouts]. We’ve just got to make sure that we all communicate,” Kyle Lowry told media after Game 4 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers (108-116).

With the series tied at 2-2, Game 5 in Miami on Tuesday will be key for both teams in their effort to reach the Eastern Conference Finals.
