Gregg Popovich had nothing but good words to say about Anthony Davis after the Lakers – Spurs game (114-106).
Popovich, the legendary head coach of San Antonio, was impressed by Davis and his 34-point performance on Sunday.
“Anthony is a great player. He led them to a victory for sure. He was great,” Gregg Popovich told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation. For his part, Anthony Davis went for 34 points (14/24 shooting), 15 rebounds and six assists in 40 minutes of action.
