As announced today (28/05) by the European Green Party, Sarunas Marciulionis rejected its position in the European Parliament.
Marciulionis wants to focus on Lithuania and help young athletes as much as possible, while he stated that more experienced politicians should join the Parliament.
“During the election campaign, the projects launched by the LVZS team with young athletes and athletes completing their sports career are gaining momentum and have received great interest from sports federations.
There are also educational institutions that will implement projects to promote the movement of children with special courses being set up.
I think we will be able to use our good experience together with active European MEPs and famous athletes in the future,” Marciulionis mentioned.
