CSKA Moscow defeated Zenit St Petersburg on the road in Game 3 (68-69) and swept the series (3-0) to advance to the VTB League Finals.

Despite being in front by nine in the fourth quarter (45-54), the visitors saw the hosts come back and tie the game, with one minute to go (65-65).

Evgeny Valiev missed the game-winning two-pointer for Zenit, though, and the Muscovites earned the victory and the qualification for the Finals.

Sergio Rodriguez led the winners with 19 points. On the other hand, Marko Simonovic had a team-high 15 points for the losing squad.

CSKA will face either UNICS Kazan or Khimki in the Finals. The winner of this match-up (UNICS vs Khimki) will secure its spot to the 2019/20 EuroLeague.
