Yesterday it was reported that Bradley Beal and the Wizards agreed to work together on a trade if a decision is made to re-set the team.
The news immediately sparked speculations about potential suitors for Beal should he become available for a trade. Two teams were mentioned by Shams Charania as the ones expected to make moves for the three-time NBA All-Star.
Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins says that Beal would love to play together with Jayson Tatum. “We do know this – that Bradley Beal and Jayson Tatum has been the loudest secret ever for wanting to play with each other. They’ve been tied together like cooked spaghetti…” he said on NBA Today.
“This is the perfect time to make the move. If I’m the Celtics, I’m calling [the Wizards] ASAP and trying to get a deal done. If I’m Bradley Beal and Jayson Tatum, I’m talking behind the scenes. Hell, they’ve been doing it for the last three years anyway.”
