Boston Celtics’ superstar Jayson Tatum is excited to start the All-Star Game next week with the Wizards’ fellow All-Star Bradley Beal.

Tatum, who was crucial for his team during Sunday’s matchup vs. Beal and Washington, shared his excitement for teaming up with Beal in the Eastern Conference team.

“We talk daily,” said Tatum. “We talk all the time. It’s good to see him.”

“I’m extremely excited that we’ll both be starting at the All-Star game next week. Hopefully we’ll be on the same team. I’ve never — in organized basketball — played on the same team . That’d be special for us if we can.”

“It’s going to be our first All-Star game together,” he added.

Beal and Tatum are childhood friends, so the respect is mutual, as both went off during Sunday’s matchup between Washington and Boston.

Beal put up 46 points, but he had a crucial slip up in the last seconds of the game, while Tatum scored 31 making Boston’s three last baskets to propel his team to the 110-111 win.
