Olimpia Milano made an incredible offensive performance against Olympiacos and decimated the “Reds” on the road (75-99).
Mike James, Nemanja Nedovic and Vladimir Micov combined for 61 points and destroyed the defence of Olympiacos. The Italians outscored their opponents 34-55 in the second half and claimed an emphatic victory.
On the other hand, the Greek giants, who were coming off two impressive road wins against Khimki and Baskonia, respectively, suffered their first defeat in the competition (2-1).
No team could earn a significant advantage in the first half (26-24, 41-44). Things changed later, though, as the visitors extended their lead to double digits at the end of the third quarter (53-63).
Olympiacos tried to turn things around, but Milano were unstoppable and crushed the “Reds” to claim their second win in three EuroLeague games (2-1).
James had 22 points for the winners, while Nedovic and Micov added 20 and 19, respectively. Nikola Milutinov led the “Reds” with 15 points and 10 rebounds, as three more players scored in double figures for the losing squad.
