Khimki was very close to its first EuroLeague win, but a three-pointer by Dogus Balbay at the buzzer gave Anadolu Efes the victory (84-85).

As a result, the Turks earned their second win in three games (2-1), whereas the Russians remained winless (0-3).

Thanks to a 16-27 run in the second quarter, Anadolu Efes was in front by eight at halftime (37-45). The visitors extended their lead to double digits and Khimki had to return from a 12-point deficit at the end of the third quarter (55-67).

However, the hosts went on a 29-15 run of their own and came one step away from the win (84-82). Yet, Balbay and his incredible three-pointer helped Anadolu Efes escape from Moscow.

Rodrigue Beaubois was unstoppable for the winners, with 26 points, as Adrien Moerman and Krunoslav Simon scored 12 points apiece.

Alexey Shved led Khimki in scoring with 25 points, with Anthony Gill contributing 15.
