Real Madrid and Fenerbahce defeated Baskonia and Zalgiris Kaunas, respectively, to earn their third straight victory in the competition (3-0).

The defending champions dominated Baskonia at home (97-79), thanks to another great performance by Sergio Llull.

The Spanish combo guard led the “Whites” with 23 points, on 8/15 shooting, and helped his team outscore the Basques 23-12 in the fourth quarter and cruise to an easy victory.

On the other hand, Baskonia remained competitive for three quarters (25-19, 52-44, 74-67), yet they came up short and suffered their second defeat in three games (1-2).

Rudy Fernandez had 14 points for the hosts, with Fabien Causeur and Anthony Randolph adding 11 apiece.

Marcelinho Huertas and Patricico Garino scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the visitors.

Fenerbahce came back from a 16-point deficit in the second quarter (38-22) and edged Zalgiris in Kaunas (75-82).

The Lithuanians had control of the game from the opening tip and were in front until the end of the third quarter (25-18, 42-34, 57-53). The Turks exploded, though, in the fourth one and outscored their opponents 18-29 to claim the victory and remain unbeaten.

Kostas Sloukas was tremendous for the winners, with 20 points and seven assists, on 7/11 shooting. Luigi Datome and Jan Vesely added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Nate Wolters had 23 points and six assists for Zalgiris, who suffered their second loss in three games (1-2). Arturas Milaknis and Brandon Davies contributed 14 points apiece for the losing squad.
