The Los Angeles Clippers have shared a positive update on Brandon Ingram’s recovery from a partially torn right Achilles tendon, confirming that the veteran forward has resumed on-court workouts.

Although Ingram is still expected to miss the beginning of the 2026-27 NBA regular season, his progress suggests that he could return sooner than initially anticipated.

The Clippers first announced his injury during Media Day, raising concerns about how long the 29-year-old would remain sidelined.

Ingram joined Los Angeles during the offseason as part of the trade package that sent Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors.

The forward has two years remaining on his contract and is scheduled to earn $40 million this season. His deal also includes a $41.9 million player option for the 2027-28 campaign.

His recovery is particularly important for a Clippers team dealing with several injuries as the new season approaches.

In addition to Ingram, Los Angeles is expected to begin the regular season without Bradley Beal, Yanic Konan-Niederhauser, Max Strus and Jordan Miller.
