The Lakers are on the brink of elimination after losing Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals at home against the Nuggets (108-119).

LeBron James, who finished the game with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists, was asked what his message to his teammates loss after the loss.

“Just got to get one. Just one at a time. Just focus on Game 4. That’s all you can think about,” the four-time NBA champion said. “Obviously this game is over and done with. We had some opportunities, but we didn’t come through. Just get ready for Monday. Just got to get one. It’s one-game series for us. Every game counts obviously.”

This is not the first time where James finds his team down 0-3 in the series. In 2016 he helped the Cavaliers overcome such deficit and defeat the Warriors in the Finals.

After Game 2 loss against Denver, LeBron was asked if there is still belief among the Lakers players that they can win this series.

“It should be. I hope so,” he said. “Can’t speak for the guys right now because I don’t know what’s going on through all their minds right now but I still do. It’s to go right back home and start to refuel and start the treatment process and recovery process and get ready for Monday. My mindset is always locked in as if it’s a Game 1.”
