The Lakers’ ship continued sinking as the Purple and Gold lost against the Clippers (114-101). Patrick Beverley, who is known to be a motivator for his teams, had a message to his teammates after the game.
“Stay with it, stay with it,” Pat Bev said. “We got Lonnie (Walker IV) out [Dennis] Schroder out, TB [Thomas Bryant] out, we got some heavy hitters coming back. We got a good week. We got Detroit next, Brooklyn this week again four-five days off. So just keep getting better.”
The only team that currently has a worse record in the NBA than the Lakers (2-9) is the Rockets (2-10).
