Anthony Davis was not satisfied at all with the defensive performance of the Los Angeles Lakers in the game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Davis said the Lakers will not have a chance to defend their title if they don’t improve their defense.
“Some nights we bring it defensively and some nights we don’t. Our communication has been terrible. We gotta be way better defensively if we want to have a chance to defend our title,” Davis told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
Davis and the Lakers conceded 118 points and lost to the Spurs (118-109).
