Rookie Cooper Flagg added 13 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds, but the Mavericks fell for the fifth time in six games despite showing signs of improvement with Davis’ return.

Los Angeles finished 59% from the field and 51% from three-point range, while Dallas shot 48% overall and 44% from deep. The Lakers also converted 21 of 26 free throws, cementing the win in front of a home crowd that gave Davis a warm welcome during the pregame introductions.
