Former NBA center Kendrick Perkins has no doubts: the New York Knicks will need a lot of faith to save the franchise.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Jump on ESPN, Perkins stated that: “Jesus Christ cannot save this organization,” when he discussed the possibility of the Knicks trying to trade for a marquee player in the future.
Perkins’ words were directed at what Ian Begley of SNY previously stated, who reported some within the Knicks organization who believe they are “incredibly well-positioned” to make a deal for a discontented star if and when one becomes available.
