Magic Johnson thinks the Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal-led Los Angeles Lakers would beat the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls.
O’Neal made a similar statement earlier this week and Johnson agreed with him.
“Well I think that Shaq would’ve been the difference because we all know that Kobe and Michael would’ve cancelled each other out.
So if Jordan got 40, Kobe was going to get 40. Because one thing about Kobe, he was not going to give into anybody. I don’t care who it was. And, he patterned his game after Michael.
We have to remember that the Bulls didn’t have great centers. So, what Shaq would’ve done to all those guys, oh my goodness it wouldn’t have been fair,” the Lakers icon said in the ‘Lunchtime with Roggin and Rodney’ podcast by LA AM570 radio.
