Some players of the Brooklyn Nets demanded the dismissal of head coach Kenny Atkinson, according to Anthony Puccio of SB Nation.
Atkinson parted ways with the Nets earlier today and the news came as a surprise, since Brooklyn was within the playoff zone.
Yet, it seems that some of the players were not on the same page with coach Atkinson and demanded his dismissal. The Nets are seventh in the East with a 28-34 record.
