Here’s Cleveland Cavaliers guard Caris LeVert on why he’s feeling more comfortable offensively under head coach Kenny Atkinson this time around (53.0% FG & 48.8% 3-PT are career-highs/played for Atkinson with the Brooklyn Nets from 2016-2020).

(via Cleveland Cavaliers):

“I think in Brooklyn, I was in a different role: I was the first option. So as a first option, you’re kinda taking tougher shots, you’re not getting a lot of catch-and-shoot opportunities. I think here, we’re running really good offense and I’m the beneficiary of great drives, great passes, and I’m just taking a lot of easier shots. I think last year we didn’t have a system that we’re kinda playing with this year, so I would kinda get the ball five, six seconds left in the clock forced to make a decision. I think this year it’s better flow and better continuity.”
