Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen believes that Kenny Atkinson’s recent past experience as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors is benefiting the group right now (8-0 start/played under Atkinson before when he was head coach of the Brooklyn Nets).

(via Cleveland Cavaliers):

“He seems more loose, more relaxed. I think he’s definitely open to ideas about how to improve everything. Not saying he wasn’t in Brooklyn, but there’s definitely a level of experience that he had going to LA and going to Golden State that he now can bring to a head coaching job and just bring all of his learnings together and try to bring this team to one of the best we can.”
