Markieff Morris made his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers and shared his thoughts on playing alongside LeBron James for the first time.
James dropped a season-high 40 points vs the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday and earned high praise from his new teammate, who believes he’s still the best player in the NBA.
“Just trying to pick my spots, really,” Morris said afterwards about playing with LeBron. “Trying to play off of him. Best player in the game. He makes the job a lot easier for us. I think we got something special.”
