Kevin Garnett revealed he never really thought about getting his jersey retired by the Boston Celtics.
“I never really put that on the goals. I never put that on the paper. It was all about busting these guys ass right here, crossing their names out.
It was about being the best in this right here and putting your name at the top. That was it,” Garnett said, via John Karalis of Mass Live.
The Celtics will retire the No.5 jersey of Garnett early next season.
