After beating Galatasaray for the third time, Besiktas is in the Turkish Beko Basketball League Finals, for the first time since 2004-2005.

At Sinan Erdem Arena, this time it was Galatasaray, who started the match better, on the contrary to previous two games. Finally, they managed to get their defensive rebounds and found accuracy behind the arc. Galatasaray finished the first quarter 22-18 and the half time 41-35 at front.

However, Besiktas again, found a way to comeback into the game. In the third quarter, offensive woes started to haunt Galatasaray again and David Hawkins, who eventually contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds was the main actor of Besiktas offenses. Home side managed to erase the difference to only one point before the final quarter.

Knowing that one loss would cost a ticket to the finals, Galatasaray started to panic. Oktay Mahmuti, who was really furious with controversial referee whistles, prefered not to use Jaka Lakovic for most of the game. In the last two minutes, Luksa Andric was called  a technical foul and after the free throws by Hawkins, Besiktas made a six point margin by 77:71.  Carlos Arroyo made the conclusion of the show with some spectacular moves in addition to his crucial 23 points and Besiktas won the game 84:73.

Their rivals in the final, is undecided yet. Anadolu Efes leads the series against Banvit by 2:1.
