The excitement of week 26 was left behind in Turkish Basketball League. While we entering to the last four weeks of the league, has increased excitement in the play-off race.

Fenerbahce Ulker hosted Eskisehir Basket who fighting for stay in the league. Despite Eskisehir Basket playing a good game in the first half, Fenerbahce Ulker took the control and won the match 86-76. Jan Vesely had 19 points 8 rebound, Bogdanovic had 19 points 4 rebound and Melih Mahmutoglu added 18 points for Fenerbahce Ulker. Manny Harris played with 25 points and 4 rebouns but it wasn’t enough for the visitors.

“Eskişehir was very different team than in the first half of the league. They have been a very good team. We played poorly in the first half, but we won the game by developing our defense in the second half.” Obradovic said after the game.

Darussafaka Dogus beat the Pinar Karsiyaka 79-80 on road. Darüşşafaka Dogus won the third consecutive game with tough defense in the last quarter and they continued to follow Fenerbahce Ulker. Jordan Farmar led the winners with 26 points and 4 rebounds, Gasper Vidmar added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Jon Diebler had 21 points and Juan Palacious played with 15 points 7 rebounds for Pinar Karsiyaka.

Anadolu Efes  took fourth place and the last ticket for the last eight in the Euroleague with Unicaja clinching a 93-84 victory over Laboral Kutxa, despite losing to Fenerbahce Ulker. Anadolu Efes had unstable performance in the league in recent weeks but they beat the Torku Konya Basket 90-73 on home court. Dario Saric played with 15 points and 4 assists, Cedi Osman added 13 points 4 assists for Anadolu Efes. Hakim Warrick had 20 points and Troy De Vries added 17 points for Torku Konya.

Besiktas Integral Forex dealt a new blow to Banvit who missed the chance to play in Eurocup Final. Besiktas took the 14th win of the season with 96-87 victory over Banvit. Besiktas Integral Forex managed to win the game with an effective offensive performance in the fourth quarter, while third quarter ends with 65-65. Seven players reached double digits for the winners. Can Maxim Mutaf had 17 points and Earl Rowland played with 16 points 5 assists for Banvit.

Trabzonspor Medical Park took an important victory 92-88 over Istanbul BBSK on home court. Dwight Hardy was player of the match with 31 points.  Royal Hali Gaziantep who beat the Ronesans TED Ankara 82-60 and they won the 5th victory in last six games.

Galatasaray Liv Hospital passed the Tofaş 93-73 on road in the closing match of the week. While Galatasaray keeping the control throughout the game, Justin Carter’s made the best play of the week with his dunk. Patric Young had 16 points 8 rebounds, Zoran Erceg added 17 points for Galatasaray Liv Hospital.  Elonu played with 21 points and 7 rebounds for Tofas.
