After a little hesitation, the crisis was solved. Oktay Mahmuti will go on as head coach of Galatasaray for next two seasons.
It was announced almost a month ago that Mahmuti, who led Galatasaray Euroleague Top 16 last season, extended his contract for the next two years.

However, it was reported yesterday, that the dialogue has been restarted and the contract extension will remain valid.
However, Galatasaray opened the market season with an important loss. Luksa Andric did not extend contract with the club and now he is free to sign for other clubs.
Moreover, it was recently reported that Jamon Lucas Gordon, the star player last season, is nor far away from leaving for a club from Russia. It remains unknown that what kind of budget will be allocated and what sort of a team will be built on.
