Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated that the return of superstar Stephen Curry is not so close yet.

Kerr told reporters that Curry has started getting on to the court and doing some things in practice, yet he has a “long way to go” before returning to action.

Curry is still recovering from surgery to repair a broken hand he suffered in October. However, he has now begun traveling with the team and will be present on its current road trip.

Golden State will re-evaluate Curry on February 1, according to Kerr.
