Some fans who had early access to the NBA 2K26 said it was the best 2K in five years.

After releasing the early access last August 29, most 2K fans were impressed with the updates from animations to its new features, but demanded more on the defensive sides down the paint to make some adjustments.

The NBA 2K26 will be coming out in two days for the standard edition, featuring Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Carmelo Anthony, and Angel Reese on the cover of this year’s 2K.

While the pre-order bonus offers 10,000 Virtual Currency (VC) and a MyPlayer gamer plate, the standard edition includes  MyCareer, MyTeam, and MyNBA/League modes.

2K fans have also been into Ronnie 2K, saying that it has been the best work compared to the previous years.

Aside from the lack of defense issue, there is also a complaint regarding steals, where it was hard to determine how it was done.

Mike Wang, the 2K developer, said that they were just improving the collision detection for the ball.

Despite some adjustments, the 2K sports were proactive, like fixing this kind of issue in rhythm shooting that could cause a hitch in a shot.

It will be the best or worst 2K to some fans. However, every video game has minimal glitches; it is about seeing the least problematic ones or the closest to reality.
