San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama ranked ninth in a top overall rating in the NBA 2K26 that will be released on Sept 5.

In the previous year, NBA 2K25, the 7-foot-2 center was already a complex problem for most console players due to so many skills with a height that can also defend in different ways. He recently had 91 overall and is now gaining a 94, as it has been buffed.

Before Wembanyama got drafted, Ronnie 2K already predicted that he would be broken in the game, as he has so much to give on the court, according to Legion Hoops.

Aside from its mobility, the former Rookie of the Year has also shown its outside shooting, where a pop-out pick and roll gave players a hard time chasing him.

Some fans said the developers have been breaking the game yearly, compromising the thrill and competitive matchup, especially in professional tournaments.

Another clip was shown where Rockets Kevin Durant blocked a lob alley-hoop thrown in a high setup, per Knawtnine on X.

Durant was registered as a 6-foot-11 forward with a 226 cm wingspan in NBA 2K.

What more can a 7-foot-2 can do? In 2K25, Wembanyama needs a nerf or a stopper. Despite fatigue, he was dominating every time he had the ball on the floor. No one’s stopping him.

Although the shot blocker was just top nine, it looks like he was way better on those top eight players that can be stopped with a good defender.

Ultimately, the fans need to give these developers chances to figure out its loopholes for the game to be more similar to reality, which can make it more competitive and fun.
