The Sacramento Kings have signed free agent wing Damari Monsanto to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to RealGM’s transaction log and Keith Smith of Spotrac.

Monsanto joins the organization after spending the 2025-26 season in the NBA G League, where he played for three different teams following his departure from college basketball.

The former UT-San Antonio standout appeared in 45 games, including 40 with the Capital City Go-Go, and averaged 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 16.2 minutes per contest.

He shot 44.0% from the field, 42.8% from three-point range and 83.3% from the free-throw line, demonstrating his ability to contribute as a perimeter shooter.

Outside shooting was also a major part of Monsanto’s game during his college career, which included stops at East Tennessee State, Wake Forest and UT-San Antonio.

Across his NCAA career, he converted 39.5% of his three-point attempts while averaging 6.7 attempts from beyond the arc per game.

Monsanto went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft before beginning his professional career in the G League.

Last month, the Stockton Kings acquired his G League returning player rights from the Capital City Go-Go, setting up a potential move to Sacramento’s developmental affiliate.

The 25-year-old is expected to join Stockton if he does not secure a spot on Sacramento’s regular-season roster.

His Exhibit 10 contract would allow him to collect a bonus of up to $91,000 if he remains with the G League team for at least 60 days.

With Monsanto and Aaron Nkrumah joining the organization, Sacramento has reached the preseason roster limit of 21 players as it prepares for the upcoming NBA campaign.
