Nick Calathes, PAOK’s experienced point guard and maestro on the court, spoke after a thrilling finish in Sarajevo, where PAOK defeated KK Bosna 75–72 at Zetra Arena to remain unbeaten after the opening two rounds of the EuroCup.

Following the hard-fought victory, Calathes highlighted the importance of his experience and his role in helping the team control the game.

“I think, like you said, experience. As a point guard, trying to read the game, trying to put everybody in the right position, things like this,” Calathes said.

The veteran guard was also asked whether he could see himself becoming a coach in the future. Calathes admitted that coaching is something he would like to pursue once his playing career comes to an end.

“I hope so. Maybe one day. I want to keep playing for a little bit longer, but one day, yes, I would like to be a coach,” he said.

With the win in Zetra, PAOK improved to 2–0 in the EuroCup, while Calathes once again underlined the value of experience and leadership in a closely contested game.
