A thumping win for Olympiacos dropped Arkadikos down to the bottom of the Greek Basket League table, while Kavala moved up a place and Panathinaikos enjoyed a comfortable victory.

The Reds’ 103-60 win on the road against Arkadikos put the latter as the league’s basement side. As is the norm with Olympiacos coach Giannis Sfairopoulos; everyone played their part, and all 12 players got on the scoresheet.

Matt Lojeski, now back from injury led the way with 23 points off the bench.

Kavala enjoyed their second straight win as they scored an impressive 78-72 away win to Koroivos.

To claim just their fourth win of the season from 16 games played, Kavala had to fight from a 12-point deficit at the half [47-35]. A 23-9 third quarter broke the game open and Koroivos had no answer to Lasan Kromah, who finished with impressive stats of 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Panathinaikos responded from last week’s loss to bitter rivals Olympiacos with a routine 84-62 win over AGOR.

Third placed AEK Athens had to fight hard for their 70-65 win over Trikalla but they got over the finish line to keep pace with the two Greek giants at the top.

Loukas Mavrokefalidis hit three triples, en route to 18 points. The big man also collected nine rebounds and five assists.

Aris were 77-69 victors over PAOK in a thrilling game played between two teams vying for one of the top four spots.

Dominic Waters netted 17 points for Aris in the Thessaloniki derby.

Around the league, there were wins for Lavrio got a 74-70 win over Nea Kifisia and Kolossos were 60-54 victors over Aplollon Patras.
