Jamal Murray’s buzzer-beating shot lifted the Denver Nuggets to a thrilling 101-99 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, securing a commanding 2-0 lead in their Western Conference series.

Murray’s heroic game-winner capped off a remarkable comeback from a 20-point second-half deficit, stunning the Lakers and igniting celebrations at Ball Arena.

With Nikola Jokic delivering a stellar triple-double performance of 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists, and Michael Porter Jr. adding 22 points, the Nuggets showcased their resilience and determination to overcome the Lakers’ challenge.

Murray finished the game with 20 points and five assists, while Aaron Gordon added 14 points and seven rebounds.

Despite Anthony Davis’ 32-point outing for the Lakers and LeBron James’ 26-point effort, Denver’s collective effort proved too much to handle, extending their winning streak over the Lakers to 10 consecutive games. D’Angelo Russell added 23 points and six assists.

The Lakers went on a 21-7 run at the end of the first half to build a 15-point lead, which like in Game 1 they wasted in the second half.
