Jason Kidd expressed frustration over Luka Doncic’s fouls during the Dallas Mavericks’ Game 3 loss to the Boston Celtics, suggesting they might have benefited from challenging every call.

Doncic, who scored 27 points, fouled out with four minutes left in the fourth quarter, with the Mavericks trailing by just three points at 90-93. This was only the third time in Doncic’s NBA career that he fouled out of a game.

Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd faced questions about his decision not to challenge Doncic’s fifth foul.

“Maybe we should have challenged all of them,” Kidd responded, highlighting his frustration with the officiating.

Kidd added, “I mean, you’re going to ask that question about challenging the fifth foul, why wouldn’t we challenge them all?”

The Mavericks are on the brink of a sweep after falling 0-3 in the NBA Finals.

Doncic’s foul troubles were a significant factor in the Mavericks’ inability to complete a comeback.

As the Mavericks face the daunting task of avoiding a sweep, they must regroup and address the challenges posed by the Celtics.
