As the basketball world continues to dissect James Harden’s public accusation against 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey, NBA insider Ramona Shelburne has shared her perspective on the unfolding situation. Harden’s claim of Morey being a “liar” due to an unfulfilled contract extension promise has caused a significant stir.

Speaking on NBA Today, Shelburne highlighted the intensity that could lie ahead for the 76ers, stating, “Somebody said to me yesterday, ‘This is only the beginning. This is just the beginning of what James Harden is going to do to make life very uncomfortable for the Philadelphia 76ers going into training camp.'”

Shelburne emphasized the parallels with the Ben Simmons situation, where Simmons chose not to attend training camp, leading to an uneasy dynamic within the team. However, she suggested that Harden’s approach is expected to be different and potentially even more disruptive.

“The phrase I kept hearing was ‘This is just the beginning,'” Shelburne continued. She questioned how the 76ers plan to handle the ongoing tension and speculated on the strategies the team might employ to navigate the situation.
