Several teams will be monitoring the situation of Zach LaVine as the trade deadline approaches. Among them are the Lakers, Knicks, Mavericks and Heat, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

There is a possibility that the Bulls will make their star available for a trade, especially if the team drops lower in the standings. Currently Chicago is in the 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

LaVine is in the first year of a five-year contract, worth $215 million. He is set to make $37 million. Next year his salary will go up to $40 million.

This season LaVine is averaging 22.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 35.1 minutes per game.
