Washington Wizards lead man Bradley Beal has entered the league’s health and safety protocols this Sunday

With that, Beal will miss the team’s preseason bout with the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.

In their revised COVID-19 mandate, the NBA requires testing for vaccinated players should they show symptoms of the disease. If they tested positive, they will be isolated for safety purposes.

The Wizards will commence the 2022-23 season on Oct. 19 against the Indiana Pacers. With that being said, the All-star guard still has over a week to recover and become available.

Beal cemented himself to the franchise on a lucrative supermax deal on a $251 million amount this offseason.
