Aron Baynes will resume his basketball career in a new deal with the Brisbane Bullets of the NBL. The contract has an NBA out so he can return to the league, which has been his goal after a grueling recovery from the freak fall at Olympics a year ago this week.

The Aussie big man played 9 seasons in the NBA for 5 teams, including the San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics. He averaged 6.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 522 regular-season games. He won 1 NBA championship.
