Tyler Johnson is taking his talents in Australia.

As posted in the NBL’s official website, the veteran guard will ink a deal with the Brisbane Bullets.

The acquisition of Bullets on Johnson comes after two days wherein they initially landed free agent big man Aron Baynes.

Both Johnson and Baynes do share familiarity with each other, as they managed to play together for the Phoenix Suns during the 2019-2020 season.

“(It’s) another exciting pickup with Tyler coming on board,” Brisbane coach James Duncan said.

“He brings so much to the table and his shooting, court vision and versatility will help our team tremendously. He has good instincts defensively and wants to compete.”

Johnson managed to play in four different teams during his seven-year tenure within the NBA, holding a career average of 8.9 points, 3.0 boards, 2.3 assists and 36 percent shooting from three.

Now, he is set to take the challenge in helping Brisbane to finally clinch a title for the first time since 2007.
