Aron Baynes opened up about his decision to join the Toronto Raptors in free agency.
Baynes shared his excitement about joining Toronto and believes the playing style of the Raptors fits with his basketball role.
“It was a long 48hrs. The basketball role here is something I’m looking forward to. I’ve seen what they’ve done from afar, I’ve played against them many times, and I’m excited to come in & try to contribute.
It’s always been a fun place to go, up to Toronto, so hopefully we can get there this season so I can see what it’s like on the other side,” Baynes told Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.
Baynes agreed to a two-year, $14.2M deal with the Raptors.
