Isaiah Thomas continues his pursue of coming back to an NBA roster, as he joins the Dallas Mavericks, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic.

Thomas has signed with the Mavs after a 10-day stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is expected to join the Mavs in Sacramento on Thursday.

Thomas had four appearances with the Lakers, after signing a 10-day hardship deal. He averaged 9.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest.

The veteran guard played three games last season, while he had 40 appearances with the Washington Wizards during the 2019-20 season.

Since his All-Star days with the Celtics in 2017, the veteran guard bounced around the NBA playing for the Cavs, Lakers (twice), Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans.
