Milwaukee Bucks were able to bounce back from a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Brooklyn Nets Sunday. The Bucks have lost four of their last five, and they needed to reinvigorate their play vs Hornets, who also suffered a “bad” loss on Sunday vs the Detroit Pistons.

The Bucks were dominant through two quarter and that was enough to reach to 106-130 at Fiserv Forum. Jevon Carter and DeAndre Bembry scored their first buckets since they came to Milwaukee.

“He can be disruptive and change the game with his defense. We’ve let him know that we want him to just be himself,” Michael Budenholzer said on Jevon Carter. “DeAndre is very capable of the same. DeAndre’s ability to kind of navigate the screens and guard guys in the half court, it’s a big reason we wanted to have him here”.

Carter was continuously guarding the Hornets’ primary ball handler. He stayed on the floor for 28 minutes, while DeAndre Bembry stayed on the court for 19 minutes.

Jrue Holiday had 21 points and eight assists, and Bobby Portis added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks. Holiday hit five threes, which is a new personal best for the season. Milwaukee shot 40 percent from beyond the arc and they out-rebounded Charlotte 41-62.

Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 26 points, 16 rebounds and six assists as the Bucks cruise past the Hornets.

“We all kind of experienced that last year in the playoffs(making adjustments from game to game), where multiple time we got to adjust immediately in the next game,”Holiday said on Bucks’ bounce back victory. “I think with the new pieces and people coming back trying to get health, it’s good to see good comradery and definitely building confidence going into these last few games”.

”If we got everybody locked in, giving that effort defensively, who can really score on us at a high level?” said Jevon Carter. ”And then on the other end, being able to guard us in transition. So, we keep that pace up, sky’s the limit.”

Milwaukee had a 21-44 second quarter run to put the game out of reach. More importantly, they put an end to a two-game losing streak and improved to 37-25, which rank them fourth in the East.
