Former NBA champion Patty Mills believes the NBA and EuroLeague are so different that comparing the two competitions is difficult.
The 38-year-old Australian guard, who joined Tony Parker’s ASVEL, shared his impressions of European basketball after spending much of his professional career in the NBA.
Mills suggested that the differences between the leagues extend beyond playing styles, making them feel like separate sports.
“I don’t think you can compare them. It almost seems like two different sports to be honest.
“For me, obviously playing with the national team for so long, I think has prepared me well.
“I’ve always wanted to experience the EuroLeague and everything that comes with it. I’m enjoying every part of it.”
