Dallas Mavericks could be the next destination for former New York Knicks’ guard Frank Ntilikina. According to Marc Stein, the Mavericks will likely sign the French guard.

The New York Knicks selected Ntilikina with the No. 9 overall selection in the 2017 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons in NY, averaging 5.5 points on 36.6 percent shooting and 2.7 assists in 19.5 minutes per game.

Ntilikina saw his role becoming smaller and smaller through the years. Last season, he fell off the Knicks’ rotation under new head coach Tom Thibodeau.

As a result, he became an unrestricted free agent this past summer. His defensive prowess could be proved useful for Dallas; however, the Frenchman will have to improve his production on the offensive end to become an important part of a playoff team.
