On Wednesday the guard of the Los Angeles Clippers Lou Williams joined a reached a milestone by surpassing 15,000 career points. The 34-year-old guard had 16 points as his team defeated the San Antonio Spurs to get its 29th win of the season.

“It’s a blessing, for where my career has gone,” Williams said postgame. “Everybody has dreams of being a superstar guy in this league and we all feel like we can do things. So for me to have 15,000 points off the bench, I’m incredibly honored. I’m sure I’m in great company north of 15,000. I just feel blessed to still be here and be able to continue my career.”

The reigning Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 12.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season.
