James Worthy opened up about what he is expecting to see from the short-handed Lakers in the coming games.

Worthy, an NBA and Lakers legend, said the defending champions will need to adjust to the current situation, but they will get better game after game.

“This was an adjustment game. They’ll get better and they’re trending in the right way,” James Worthy said during his appearance on Spectrum Sportsnet.

The Lakers were forced to play without LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Marc Gasol, due to injuries and the Health and Safety protocols of the NBA.

At the moment, the Lakers are third in the West, at 28-15, having lost their last two games.
