LeBron James will remain sidelined for ‘several weeks’, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

James was diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain and was initially ruled out indefinitely.

For his part, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the Lakers ‘are preparing for the possibility’ that LeBron James will be out for three to four weeks.

Without James in the lineup, the Lakers are on a two-game losing streak and third in the West, at 28-15.

The multiple time champion is averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.9 assists in 41 games for the Lakers.
