Anthony Davis is trying to help his teammates from the bench, but admitted he could never be a coach in a team.

Davis noted he has found his ‘coaching’ role difficult and shared his admiration for the work of the Lakers coaching staff.

“Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis told the coaching staff on the flight to Golden State that he’s found his “coaching” role while injured difficult, and that he could never be a coach: “He has a newfound respect for our profession,” Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group reports.

Anthony Davis has been out of action for the Lakers since mid-February with a right calf strain and could return in early April.
