Kentavious Caldwell-Pope believes the Lakers have their sights set on successfully defending their title this season.
Caldwell-Pope says the team is working towards a specific target, to win the 2021 NBA championship.
“Talen is making a big push to trying and get some of those minutes, but I feel like everybody has the mindset of one goal. We’re here to try to win another championship…Everybody is just here for each other no matter if we’re playing or not,” Caldwell-Pope told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
Following a perfect offseason (4-0), Caldwell-Pope and the Lakers are getting ready for their season opener vs the Clippers on Tuesday.
