Derrick Rose is not expected to be a starter for the Detroit Pistons this season, according to head coach Dwane Casey.
Instead, Rose will come off the bench, with rookie Killian Hayes as the starting point guard.
Rose started 15 of his 50 games for Detroit last season, averaging 18.1 points and 5.6 assists. The Pistons drafted Haynes with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
